Compensation of diverse side-effects following hormone treatment in conjunction with prostrate cancer.
In anti-androgenic treatment of prostrate cancer, hormone withdrawal at an advanced stage leads to a retraction of the penis. This cannot be compensated for in the long-term by administering Sildenafil or treatment with intracavernous injections. Even following radical prostatectomy, the frequently occurring erectile dysfunction inherent to the method also results in a shortening of the member. To counteract this, some urologists have postoperatively administered Sildenafil or intracavernous injections. The cheaper and more effective method is PHALLOSAN forte.
